Research Partners

M.E Research has developed long-standing collaborative relationships with a wide range of organisations. These complement the team’s expertise at various stages along the research conceptualisation-application spectrum.

The team has worked jointly on research programmes with all major universities in New Zealand and a large variety of Crown Research Institutes (CRIs). We also currently participate in two Centres of Research Excellence (QuakeCoRE and Te Pūnaha Matatini) and director, Garry McDonald, has held multiple adjunct university professorships.

The team has also worked closely in the application of tools and dissemination of knowledge with other independent consulting firms and research/government agencies. We are partners in the development of the MERIT resilience modelling tool along with Resilient Organisations and GNS Science.
